Anna Sonnenberg / Gluten-Free Jet Set

About Anna Sonnenberg

Anna Sonnenberg has been 100% gluten-free since being diagnosed with celiac disease in 2012. Like most paths to a gluten-free lifestyle, hers was not straightforward. After recognizing a sensitivity to gluten as early as 2010, she slowly began to eliminate gluten from her diet. Modifying her cooking repertoire and incorporating an array of new ingredients was a fun and manageable challenge, but she found that eating gluten-free outside of her safe kitchen was incredibly daunting and difficult. She has come a long way and traveled extensively since then—countless cities in more than 25 countries. A food and travel writer and consultant, Anna is the primary writer for Gluten-Free Jet Set.

We are avid gluten-free eaters and travelers, but we are not medical professionals. We do our best to research and ask questions about everything we eat, and we encourage you to do the same. Take your health and wellbeing seriously! Consult with your doctor if you have any questions or concerns about celiac disease or gluten sensitivity.
